Don Stone

Internationally known modern impressionist painter Don Stone has been elected to full membership in the National Academy of Design, and to full membership in the American Watercolor Society. He has also been designated as a Dolphin Fellow of the latter group. In addition, Stone is a full member of the Allied Artists of America, the Hudson Valley Art Association, the Guild of Boston Artists, and the American Society for Marine Artists. He has also exhibited in various public museums, including the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. He has won over sixty-five competitive awards for his work, including eight gold medals, and has been the recipient of two Greenshields Foundation grants.
